Ghost Body

The Plumb, Toronto, ON

09.27.24 - 11.25.24

Ghosts linger in culture, memory, and media, shaping the ways we see and interpret the world. Ghost Body brings together artists exploring spectral presence, disappearance, and haunting in contemporary visual art. Through material traces, digital afterimages, and cinematic echoes, the exhibition considers how ghostliness manifests beyond the supernatural—within archives, technology, and the body itself.

Accompanied by a screening series featuring Hell House LLC, The Deeper You Dig, and I Am the Pretty Thing That Lives in the House.

Featuring work by:
Alicia Wright, Brandon A. Dalmer, Eric Chengyang, Emerald Repard-Denniston & Olivia Aguir, James Rollo, Joshua Rogin, Khadijah Morley, Lesia Miga, Onyeka Oduh, Sarah Zanchetta, Vanessa Rieger, and Yoona.
